on a trip to a DELIGHTFUL dollar store, i picked up one of these:
a ZERO bar. my friend had thwarted my earlier attempts at buying one of these bad boys with horror stories from his past, but with him out of the picture, i was free try it out for myself. well… i was wrong to try it. i was very wrong. it sucked, quite a bit. the white fudge exterior was pretty gross, and the “almond nougat” on the inside also left quite a bit to be desired. the caramel was practically non-existent, and the peanuts were mashed beyond textural recognition. it was vastly disappointing. but i had to know for myself! NO MAN, no matter how trustworthy, can make the call on my tastes for me. it just turns out that this time he was incredibly right.
